Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ringgold Rams (Monongahela, PA), 89-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Peters Township upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Trinity (Washington, PA) to play the Hillers in a WPIAL 5A 1 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Hillers go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Rams play the Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Ringgold will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-19 record after their 78-45 league loss to Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA).
