Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) and the host Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA), saw Seneca Valley's basketball squad knock off Pine-Richland by a count of 57-37.

With the victory, Seneca Valley upgrades its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to North Allegheny (Wexford, PA) to play the Tigers in a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. North Allegheny lost 66-55 in their recent league challenge against Butler (Butler, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Pine-Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 67-53 league win over Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA).
