The Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) basketball felled the visiting Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA), 75-66 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Bears go into the Mountain Valley test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Pleasant Valley thwarted Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA), 49-47, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host East Stroudsburg North for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Pocono Mountain East will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 67-59 league win over East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 9-10.
