The Pirates now possess a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conrad for a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Saturday, February 4. Poteet will confront a Chargers team coming off a 52-33 league loss to West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 3-20.
The Dragons (7-16) will now prepare for their battle against Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Timberwolves come into the 5A Region II District 12 battle with a 15-12 record. In their last battle, Spruce beat Samuell (Dallas, TX), 81-32, in a league battle.
