The St. Joseph Lancers (Kenosha, WI) basketball nipped the visiting Racine Lutheran Crusaders (Racine, WI), 65-62 in Friday's league test.
The Lancers (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI). The Pacers go into the Metro Classic test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Shoreland Lutheran was tipped by The Prairie School (Racine, WI), 64-57, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Union Grove for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Racine Lutheran will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 44-42 league win over Badger (Lake Geneva, WI). The Broncos record now stands at 12-6.
