Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) and the host Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT), saw Salem Hills's basketball squad knock off Wasatch by a count of 71-57.

With the victory, Salem Hills upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Skyhawks host Springville (Springville, UT) to play the Red Devils in a 5A Region 9 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Springville won 49-28 in their recent league challenge against Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT)

Next up, the Wasps play the Provo Bulldogs (Provo, UT) in a 5A Region 9 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Wasatch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 72-61 league win over Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT).
