Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 76-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Scranton Prep upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Cavaliers host Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Honesdale lost 64-43 in their recent non-league bout against West Scranton (Scranton, PA)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Scranton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 41-38 league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA).
