The Scripps Ranch Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting University City Centurions to 50 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Norte for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Scripps Ranch will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 59-57 league win over Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 16-6.

The Centurions (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Marauders enter the Eastern contest with a 4-23 record. In their last contest, Mira Mesa was defeated by Madison (San Diego, CA), 76-51, in a league contest.
