South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), 50-49 in a league bout.
With the win, South Anchorage upgrades its record to 4-11 on the season. The Wolverines travel to West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to play the Eagles in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-5. West Anchorage lost 77-64 in their recent league bout against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Cougars play the Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Service will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
