The Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH), 68-61 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their test against River (Hannibal, OH). The Pilots go into the Ohio Valley AA test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, River got by Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH), 61-41, in a non-league test.
The Zeps now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Frye for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Shenandoah will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 47-42 non-league loss to Morgan (McConnelsville, OH). The Cadets record now stands at 5-13.
