North Dakota High School Basketball - Wahpeton knocked off by Shanley

The Shanley Deacons basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Wahpeton Huskies to 63 in the Deacons league triumph on Friday.
The Deacons now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Fargo for a A East contest on Tuesday, February 7. Shanley will battle a Packers team coming off a 58-57 non-league loss to Bemidji (Bemidji, MN). The Packers record now stands at 6-7.
The Huskies (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fargo North (Fargo, ND). The Spartans enter the A East contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Fargo North was defeated by Devils Lake/North Dakota School for the Deaf (Devils Lake, ND), 84-79, in a league contest.
