Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) and the visiting Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), saw Slippery Rock's basketball squad overcome Sharon by a tally of 55-41.

With the victory, Slippery Rock improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA) to play the Greyhounds in a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Wilmington lost 53-27 in their recent league challenge against Greenville (Greenville, PA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Sharon will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 66-42 league win over East (Youngstown, OH).
