The St. Albans Red Dragons topped the host South Charleston Black Eagles basketball team by a final score of 78-70 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Red Dragons face the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 7. St. Albans will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 8-8 record after their 69-58 league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).
With the defeat, South Charleston moves to 10-5 on the year. The Black eagles travel to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, February 4. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 8-13.
