The Spooner Rails basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host St. Croix Falls Saints to 49 in the Rails league victory on Friday.

The Rails now sport a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a Heart O'North contest on Thursday, February 9. Spooner will battle a Oredockers team coming off a 104-67 league loss to Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Oredockers record now stands at 5-13.

The Saints (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Cumberland, WI). The Beavers come into the Heart O'North contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Cumberland prevailed over Amery (Amery, WI), 62-41, in a non-league contest.
