Nebraska High School Basketball - Wauneta-Palisade falls to Sutherland

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Sutherland Sailors basketball team scored a good 53-36 triumph over the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos.
In their next game, the Sailors meet the Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE) in a C2 District 11 match, on Tuesday, February 7. Sutherland will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 7-13 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Wallace (Wallace, NE).
With the defeat, Wauneta-Palisade moves to 2-15 on the year. The Broncos travel to Cheylin (Bird City, KS) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, February 9. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 12-2.
