With the victory, Tyler upgrades its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Texas (Texarkana, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-14. Texas won 56-53 in their recent league bout against Longview (Longview, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Whitehouse will attempt to upgrade on its 14-15 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 19-11 record after their 64-50 league win over Marshall (Marshall, TX).
