Georgia High School Basketball - Westside trounces Washington County

February 3, 2023: Sandersville, GA 31082

The Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) basketball crushed the host Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA), 84-33 in Friday's league test.

The Patriots (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Butler (Augusta, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AA Region 4B test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Butler walloped Laney (Augusta, GA), 68-42, in a league test.

The Golden Hawks now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Laney for a AA Region 4B test on Tuesday, February 7. Washington County will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-42 league loss to Butler (Augusta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-12.
