The Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) basketball knocked off the host Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA), 49-39 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Clovis West (Fresno, CA). The Golden Eagles go into the test with a 24-2 record. In their last test, Clovis West notched a victory over Clovis East (Clovis, CA), 76-37, in a league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Clovis North for a test on Tuesday, February 7. Central will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 50-35 league loss to Clovis West (Fresno, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 11-11.
