Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Alamance Christian (Graham, NC), 47-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Gospel Light Christian upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The travel to Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Eagles in a NCCSA AA West Region 2 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Woodland Baptist Christian won 57-47 in their recent non-league bout against New Manna Christian (Marion, NC)

Next up, the play the Greater Vision Academy Lions (Gibsonville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Alamance Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 44-32 non-league loss to Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC).
