Michigan High School Basketball - Cadillac can't hold off Alpena

The Alpena Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Cadillac Vikings to 38 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tawas Area for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Alpena will battle a Braves team coming off a 60-32 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI). The Braves record now stands at 3-9.
The Vikings (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kingsley (Kingsley, MI). The Stags enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Kingsley was nudged by Glen Lake (Maple City, MI), 54-43, in a league contest.
