The Murphy Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Andrews Wildcats to 50 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee for a 1A Conference 43 - Big contest on Tuesday, February 7. Murphy will battle a Braves team coming off a 86-33 non-league win over Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Braves record now stands at 20-3.

The Wildcats (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Yellowjackets enter the 1A Conference 43 - Big contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Hayesville was defeated by Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC), 55-29, in a league contest.
