Mahopac Indians (Mahopac, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Arlington Admirals (LaGrangeville, NY), 57-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Mahopac upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY) to play the Pelicans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Pelicans go into the bout with a record of 12-0.

Next up, the Admirals play the John Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 1A bout, on Friday, February 10. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 51-44 league loss to Mahopac (Mahopac, NY).
