The Ashland Grizzlies basketball team (Ashland, OR), was overwhelmed 54-22 in Friday's league battle with the host Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR)
The Colts now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a 5A Midwestern battle on Tuesday, February 7. Thurston will confront a Lancers team coming off a 55-31 league win over Ashland (Ashland, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 9-10.
The Grizzlies (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets come into the 5A Midwestern battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Crater was overwhelmed by Springfield (Springfield, OR), 47-42, in a league battle.
