Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI), 67-10 in a league bout.

With the victory, Breckenridge upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Huskies host Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to play the Irish in a Mid-State bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Irish come into the bout with a record of 11-5. Sacred Heart Academy won 55-13 in their recent league bout against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI)

Next up, the Bears play the Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Ashley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 53-21 league loss to St. Charles (St. Charles, MI).
