Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson nudges Beach

Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA), 42-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Johnson upgrades its record to 6-16 on the season. The Atomsmashers host Long County (Ludowici, GA) to clash with the Blue Tide in a AAA Region 3 bout on Saturday, February 4. The Blue Tide go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Long County lost 75-54 in their recent league bout against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) in a AAA Region 3 bout, on Saturday, February 4. Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record.
