The Bedford Kicking Mules basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Pioneer Pioneers to 27 in the Kicking Mules league triumph on Friday.

The Kicking Mules now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huron for a Southeastern - Red contest on Tuesday, February 7. Bedford will battle a River Rats team coming off a 55-40 league loss to Dexter (Dexter, MI). The River Rats record now stands at 4-11.

The Pioneers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI). The Eagles enter the Southeastern - Red contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Skyline was defeated by Saline (Saline, MI), 51-16, in a league contest.
