The Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS) basketball knocked off the host Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles (Shawnee, KS), 48-36 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cyclones (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Seabury Academy (Lawrence, KS). The Seahawks go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Bishop Seabury Academy went down by Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS), 76-14, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Kansas City Christian School for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Maranatha Christian Academy will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 38-25 non-league win over Central Heights (Richmond, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 7-8.
