Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines (Bolivar, NY) and the host Houghton Academy Panthers (Houghton, NY), saw Bolivar-Richburg's basketball squad hold off Houghton Academy by a tally of 38-37.

With the victory, Bolivar-Richburg improves its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Fillmore (Fillmore, NY) to confront the Eagles in a Section 5 Allegany County I challenge on Monday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Hinsdale Central Bobcats (Hinsdale, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Houghton Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
