Bushland Falcons (Bushland, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Dalhart Wolves (Dalhart, TX), 54-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bushland upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Canadian (Canadian, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 16-6. Canadian lost 34-30 in their recent league bout against Spearman (Spearman, TX)

Next up, the Wolves play the River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX) in a 3A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Dalhart will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 5-25 record after their 66-28 league loss to Tulia (Tulia, TX).
