The Canadian Wildcats basketball team (Canadian, TX), was nudged 34-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Spearman Lynx (Spearman, TX)
The Lynx now possess a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tulia for a 3A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Spearman will confront a Hornets team coming off a 66-28 league win over River Road (Amarillo, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 13-20.
The Wildcats (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bushland (Bushland, TX). The Falcons come into the 3A Region I District 1 battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Bushland edged Dalhart (Dalhart, TX), 54-29, in a league battle.
