Michigan High School Basketball - Canton knocked off by Salem

The Salem Rocks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Canton Chiefs to 45 in the Rocks league triumph on Friday.

The Rocks now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartland for a Kensington Lakes - West contest on Tuesday, February 7. Salem will meet a Eagles team coming off a 48-33 league win over Plymouth (Canton, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.

The Chiefs (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Novi (Novi, MI). The Wildcats enter the Kensington Lakes - West contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Novi was outscored by Northville (Northville, MI), 41-40, in a league contest.
