Wells Leopards (Wells, NV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV), 48-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wells upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Leopards host Owyhee (Owyhee, NV) to play the Braves in a 1A Eastern bout on Saturday, February 4. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 3-8.

Next up, the Railroaders play the Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV) in a Freelance bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Carlin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record.
