With the victory, Cabarrus Charter improves its record to 1-17 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-17. Bradford Prep lost 50-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Comets play the Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Carolina International will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 61-20 non-league loss to Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC).
