In Friday's league outing, the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) basketball squad beat the host Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY), by a count of 52-44.

The Crusaders (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lansingburgh (Troy, NY). The Knights go into the Section 2 Colonial outing with a 0-17 record. In their last outing, Lansingburgh was topped by Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY), 71-24, in a league outing.

The Riders now hold a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Academy of the Holy Names for a Section 2 Colonial outing on Tuesday, February 7. Ichabod Crane will clash with a squad coming off a 59-44 league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The record now stands at 14-5.
