The Cedar Grove Panthers basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Livingston Lancers to 24 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Essex for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Cedar Grove will battle a Knights team coming off a 54-35 non-league loss to West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 13-5.

The Lancers (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Millburn (Millburn, NJ). The Millers come into the Super Essex - Colonial contest with a 11-5 record.
