In Friday's league outing, the Central Clinton Sabers (DeWitt, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA), by a margin of 68-40.

The Sabers (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Wildcats go into the Mississippi outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Davenport North smashed Davenport West (Davenport, IA), 68-21, in a league outing.

The Muskies now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to North Scott for a Mississippi outing on Tuesday, February 7. Muscatine will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 63-31 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-8.
