The Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals basketball team (Sibley, IA), was nudged 62-58 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA)

The Lions now possess a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host George-Little Rock for a Siouxland battle on Tuesday, February 7. Central Lyon will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 53-51 league loss to MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-11.

The Generals (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Lyon (Inwood, IA). The Wildcats come into the Siouxland battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, West Lyon edged Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 61-31, in a league battle.
