Colorado High School Basketball - Chaparral overwhelms Ponderosa

February 3, 2023: Parker, CO 80134

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) and the host Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO), saw Chaparral's basketball squad wallop Ponderosa by a tally of 59-17.

With the victory, Chaparral improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Wolverines host ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Grizzlies in a 6A/5A Continental challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. ThunderRidge won 48-20 in their recent league challenge against Castle View (Castle Rock, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Ponderosa will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 63-62 league loss to Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO).
