Fans at Friday's league challenge between the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) and the visiting Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA), saw William Campbell's basketball squad knock off Chatham by a count of 45-36.

With the victory, William Campbell upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Dan River (Ringgold, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Dogwood challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Dan River won 57-48 in their recent league challenge against Gretna (Gretna, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Chatham will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 69-24 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA).
