In Friday's league outing, the China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) basketball squad beat the host Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), by a count of 48-30.

The Cougars (12-18) will now prepare for their outing against Salado (Salado, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region III District 23 outing with a 21-11 record. In their last outing, Salado defeated Gatesville (Gatesville, TX), 64-33, in a league outing.

The Rockets now hold a 11-22 record. They play next when they travel to Connally for a 4A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Robinson will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 71-19 league loss to La Vega (Waco, TX). The Cadets record now stands at 23-9.
