Pee Dee Academy Eagles (Mullins, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Christian Academy Saints (Myrtle Beach, SC), 28-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Pee Dee Academy upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Florence Christian (Florence, SC) to clash with the Eagles in a SCISA AAA Region II bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Florence Christian won 43-22 in their recent non-league bout against King's Academy (Florence, SC)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Williamsburg Academy Stallions (Kingstree, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region II challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 34-18 league loss to Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC).
