Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Leland Cubs (Leland, MS), 47-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Coahoma County upgrades its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Red Panthers host North Side (Shelby, MS) to play the Gators in a 2A Region 3 bout on Saturday, February 4. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 2-5. North Side won 38-31 in their recent league bout against Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS)
