The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Portland Highlanders to 20 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Saybrook for a Shoreline contest on Tuesday, February 7. Coginchaug Regional will battle a Rams team coming off a 46-34 league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, CT). The Rams record now stands at 10-7.

The Highlanders (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Noises enter the Shoreline contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Hale Ray triumphed over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT), 54-36, in a league contest.
