The Rains Wildcats ran past the host Commerce Tigers basketball team by a final score of 59-46 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 game, on Tuesday, February 7. Rains will attempt to move on its 22-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 25-7 record after their 54-40 league win over Chisum (Paris, TX).
With the defeat, Commerce moves to 18-12 on the year.
