In Friday's league outing, the Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA), by a margin of 29-23.
The Panthers (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines go into the Mid-Valley outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, Biggs got by Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 46-35, in a league outing.
The Lynx now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Williams for a Mid-Valley outing on Tuesday, February 7. CORE Butte will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 0-0 league Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-13.
