Utah High School Basketball - Hillcrest ripped by Cottonwood

The Cottonwood Colts basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Hillcrest Huskies to 25 in the Colts league triumph on Friday.

The Colts now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Payson for a 5A Region 7 contest on Wednesday, February 8. Cottonwood will battle a Lions team coming off a 50-48 league win over Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Lions record now stands at 13-4.

The Huskies (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Tooele (Tooele, UT). The Buffaloes enter the 5A Region 7 match with a 3-14 record. In their last match, Tooele was ripped by Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT), 57-34, in a league match.
