The Pirates now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bruceville-Eddy for a 2A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Crawford will confront a Eagles team coming off a 45-38 league win over Meyer (Waco, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 19-13.

The Bearcats (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX). The Cougars come into the 2A Region III District 17 battle with a 6-20 record. In their last battle, Rosebud-Lott was toppled by Bosqueville (Waco, TX), 59-21, in a league battle.
