Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), 53-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Reedy upgrades its record to 16-15 on the season. The Lions travel to Turner (Carrollton, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Saturday, February 4. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-24. Turner lost 60-8 in their recent league bout against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Creekview will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 11-18 record after their 62-26 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX).
