With the victory, Cuero upgrades its record to 17-13 on the campaign. The Gobblers travel to Gonzales (Gonzales, TX) to play the Apaches in a 4A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Apaches come into the bout with a record of 7-13. Gonzales lost 51-50 in their recent league bout against San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Rockets play the La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 28 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. John F. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 22-9 record after their 46-24 league win over Young Women's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX).
