Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA), 48-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Thomas Jefferson Academy upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Jaguars host Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 14-9. Edmund Burke Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Monsignor Donovan Catholic Rams (Athens, GA) in a GIAA A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. David Emanuel Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record.
